Goose, we are capable of configuring our own.

We had a chat about this.. we are not sure what benefit it would have, we don't plan to use it for any prize giving,.

I was just contributing, no need to be horrible. I stated a fact. There wasnt a stats server at the last LAN, so assumed they didnt want to run one again

reread please and appologise. I did not say that there would not be one

I said "unlikely" and i said that based on the last LAN which the stats server was not run at. Also you know full well that I havent edited my original post.

If you choose to take it as im trying to "stir up more drama" 1, im intested as to what other drama i have stired up. and 2, can you not think that for once, i was trying to make a constructive comment!

How is saying
Gooseman wrote:AlienX who did this, no longer attends, so unlikely it will be there
constructive in any way?
It's not constructive at all, you're just telling people that there probably won't be one, when it's not your place to say it, it's up to the members of staff that decide what's going to happen.
And you're not coming to SaltLAN 38 so how are you supposed to know whether there will be a HLStats Server or not?

It's really not hard to set one up. Question is, why? Prefer the casual setup personally. Unless you wanted lifetime lan stats which I could see being decent.

in fairness, when we had the server running just for that LAN, it was a good thing. Though, i think it was mainly used for the tornis,? someone might correct that.. it gave a great idea about what was being played, and how people played! IMO a great addition for the LAN, and with you guys being sold out, would give a great view of what is played at the lan and how well!

The HLStatsX:CE server wasnt too bad to do by any means, more time consuming getting the server configurations modified correctly.
If u do want it back and get stuck at all on the setup, just hit me up on Steam if u want :)

Hi chaps, genuinely interested in other people's opinions. As staff members we're not sure either way.

The overwhelming opinion about adding scores together across games was unpopular as a feature, and we'd not do that again unless we now got feedback in contradiction.

There has been a little bit of trolling in this thread, let's be adults and overlook this please :) To be clear, WestLAN wants to be as inclusive as we possibly can be - open for anyone to attend. Some tensions referenced in this thread are about making games and scoring systems fair - this is something we want your input on and will strive for as much as possible :)
