Re: Post LAN Thread
I echo what's been said above. Will most likely be another year before I make another appearance, unfortunately. However, was good to see you all again.

Re: Post LAN Thread
Thanks guys,
What's your opinion on the organised games?
Less of them? Different games?
from my side of it.. it's quite frustrating to try and organise the games and no-one be interested etc..

Re: Post LAN Thread
Mark,
Its always been difficult to arrange games. especially because of late starts, or late finishes. I would say that a couple of less, but the more popular games stay, and abit more time inbetween games starting might be good. and times to avoid would be friday evenings before 8 or 9pm, saturday evenings from 7:30 onwards (chinese order) and sundays before 1pm
All in all though it was a good effort and alot of people were in the games this lan, so it shows that people do want to do orginised games

This, really. I can't remember the last time we did more than a glorified pick up game.
Just as an example, even my memories of the last time we played savage were that it involved less strategy as throwing warm bodies at the enemy base. I'd hardly equate savage with brain surgery either, and we've got 2 days to train anyone, and training can probably be done in a 10-20 minute crash course.
I adblock smilies.
