I guess we have solid numbers of people going then. Myself and Lee will also fly back on the 1st so I guess we need a room on Sunday in Stockholm. Going to be landing the day before the LAN as well so will be getting a room the night before on the 26th.

Here's the current list and prices for the week:

I'm still likely to go, but I'm planning a bit more of an exotic route to get there! ;) Meet you guys at the event I think!

SAS changed our flight out to go via Copenhagen, making it two flight totalling over 6 hours. So I've had to cancel it. Aer Lingus wants €350 each for direct flights. I'm looking at direct flights from Heathrow, but if I don't find anything decent it looks like I'll be bailing from this one chaps.

Copenhagen is a lovely city, if you were stopping for more than a couple of hours I'd go ahead with it and explore the city. It's only about 10 minutes by train from the airport into the city centre and there is absolutely oodles to see. If your stop-over is only 2 hours then you don't have enough time really.

As long as multi-stop flights are cheaper, don't overlook the idea as I find it's a cheap way to pop by lovely citys for a few hours. I was recently very seriously considering a trip to Iceland, that stopped by Amsterdam on the way out for about 9 hours and Oslo on the way back for 11 hours - cheaper than a direct flight. Unfortunately I could not book it due to work commitments, but it would have been a brilliant holiday!

Best of luck finding a flight, I really hope you guys go (I should really think about booking too!)

I can highly recommend a few days in Gothenburg, very chilled and the flights were excellent value.

There aren't the same number of fancy museums as stockholm, but a decent selection. Lots of independent shops too (Including a Totoro shop)

It was right in the sweet spot of getting the maximum wait time between flights, without having enough to leave the airport.

I'll be looking regularly at flight prices but due to work times around Dreamhack and the fact I've blown 75% of my holiday this year going to America i don't have too much to play around with.

It seems that it's Dreamhacks 20th birthday this LAN, so it might be a bit different than before :)
