Sooo!

When would you all like to think about booking flights, hotels and that sort of thing? I can't remember if we booked flights and hotels before the dreamhack tickets were released last time.

Ah, I think there was still a conversation about driving and that sort of stuff. Is that still something worth considering?

normally we wait until after we get dreamhack tickets to book the other stuff but i see no need really to do this.

I am happy to start booking stuff when ever. i am also tempted to say fuck it and book a room in the hotel across the road from the venue, Anyone interested in sharing the cost ?
The hotel is prob around £550 - £600 depending on what room we go for and checking in the day before the lan for 4 nights.. ppl can sleep on the floor, it would be much better than the cold hall. and we would have a shower.

If there is an easy space in the hotel, I'll grab a bed to make up a 3 or a 4, but I'm totally happy with the [ice cold] floor at Dreamhack because I had a blow-up matress and manned up to go for a shower :P

I've got a seriously unconventional suggestion - we _coulddddd_ try a different hall. It's treś-risky, but I'm thinking the Hall C (?) - between the shop and the 3x eSports stages.

I think the driving was an ambitious but rubbish moment.

Ramming lots of people in a hotel room would be fun, trying to beat all the security. :) I'm ok with the hall floor. I'll just bring a blow up bed now were not staying for a week's holiday.

Myself and Lee will obviously book our own way there. Will hostel the night before and get the early morning train down to the event. Will get a flight back to match the train back up.

Agreed- i didn't mind the hall at all as long as you had a sleeping bag and a blow up bed. As were only going for the event and not the sightseeing tour of Stockholm I can fit my aero bed in my luggage :D

Regarding flights;I think me and merson will book them as soon as we see a decent price, probs a bit closer to the time

Its like everybody is in agreement that has repsonded to this thread :) If anyone has different views then let your voice be heard!

Lets aim to book at around April/May time then - pleeeenty of time for cheap flights and gives everybody time to save up. Protip: If you save £10/week between now and the end of April, you'd save £150 - the cost of the flight.

Booked flights now as it was €80 (£66) return with baggage, with the Special Air Service.

Hi All.
Myself Shane and Mark will be going to Gothenburg before Dreamhack. We will be going out on the 22nd and coming back on the 1st
We have booked flights as we have used some BA points and these need to be booked very early and separately from anyone else going.

We are going from Heathrow on flight BA0790 at 07:35 and coming back on flight BA0793 at 19:35. If anyone wants to join us its £110 at the moment.

We have also booked a hotel for 2 nights at Dreamhack if anyone wants a space on the floor and use of the shower and such please can you help pay towards the hotel cost and all we ask is £20 a night.
