ah my mistake then, i thought i had heard that it was done, and people put themselves back online when the internet connection was stable.

ignore that then

anyway, for once i was trying to be helpful! :)

Not sure which games don't work, I've never had a problem with offline mode but last year I know the people who left if in online mode had to wait ages for steam to start initially. Anyone know which games break? Might try mine later and see which ones are ok or not.

Found this which might help http://www.howtogeek.com/117424/how-to- ... mode-work/

You don't need to use offline mode at westlan any more, the internet connection is far more capable than 3 years ago and the hardware and software QoS is very effective. There were no problems with the internet at SL28 at all.

No, there wasn't. After Steve fixed it.
