I've noticed that CSS is up to be played in a little tournament, but is CS:GO going to be played in any shape or form? Seeing as it's, y'know, coming out next month.
It's cheap, runs better than CSS, is a little more casualised, but underneath is still a nice refresh of Counter Strike for the more modern day...

Hiya
Always difficult with this sort of thing. the people with GO will no doubt want to play that, but you'll find almost everybody at the lan will have (and be familiar with) CS:S. So for tornis unless most people have bought GO I suspect we'll still want to run CS:S

I can understand it's difficult telling people "you need to buy this to participate", but it would be nice to have some variation.

Re: Global Offensive
CS GO will be played, it doesn't have to be in a tournament

Re: Global Offensive
We are having the same "debate" in ShinyLAN as to weather or not we should switch to CS:GO - it's looking likely that we will be making the transition for the next LAN although it's still not 100% decided. It got played A LOT at out last event and the setup seems to work well - it's evolution as opposed to revolution but progress none the less.
I will defo be up for some games this weekend.
