Im quite sure that RenX: Black Dawn will be single player only, it will be perhaps another year yet until we see any hint of a full multiplayer enabled release.

Black Dawn is SP only but I got the idea they were making the MP a full release as well. Isn't the MP Beta out anyway?

Not long ago, we announced that our short singleplayer campaign Operation Black Dawn will be released on January 28th, 2012. It is a 1-2 hour 10-part experience complete with ingame cinematics. The purpose of Black Dawn is to demonstrate what the the team has accomplished since going standalone with the UDK. The multiplayer version of Renegade X will come later.

Renegade X 0.55 Beta
File size: 616 MB

This beta requires a legit copy of Unreal Tournament 3, fully updated to its latest patch. If you have any issues with the file, we'll be glad to help on our support forum HERE.

Remember: this is a beta; please treat it as a work in progress. In no way, shape, or form, does this represent the final upcoming version of Renegade X.

0.55 is also a bit over a year old: http://www.moddb.com/mods/renegade-x/do ... 5-beta-ut3
Needs UT3 as well.

I reckon an epic Civ 5 / Shogun 2 spanning the whole length of the LAN event would be awesome, quite frankly, not much time for other games though haha :)

Also, Starcraft 2 is awesome, I'll happily compete if anything competitive happens with it. (No doubt i'd still get my shit slapped), also anything Dawn Of War or CoH related. (I like RTS's yo).

Racing wise, would something like Dirt work? Don't know how it works online but it could be pretty awesome having a rally going on as well, each player taking turns etc.

Starcraft 2 rocks, but not many WestLANers have it and as the traffic goes over t'interwebnets, it can get very laggy. I love it and if we get 4-5 people together we can do some 1 on 1's.

In terms of racing, TrackMania (1/2) are played a LOT at WestLANs. Dirt sucks! I love CoH, we'll easily get a few games of that in.

Saying that, regarding to Starcraft, there's this little line which appears in the EULA:

You have no interest, monetary or otherwise, in any feature or content contained in the Game or associated with the Account.

I seem to recall that this means you can't host an event which features SC2 without the permission of Blizzard? It might be detailed further somewhere else but I always thought this was the case. (Only just remembered this lol)

Then again I might once again by spewing shit out my ass and that was all a distorted memory of mine, haha

For SC2 proper tournaments require the blessing of Bliz, because tournaments are big business in some countries.

Really, tournaments thrive on games that everyone has, or can get easily or cheaply.

Speaking of which, there's just over a day left on the bundle including Nuclear Dawn, going by the lack of enthusiasm I guess that's a non-starter.

Will there be steamapps files I can nab for CSS and DODS? Only ask because I've got quite possibly the worst internet in the world...
