I'm an essential NHS worker, so I can get the jab.

Probably not the best idea, given I'm allergic to eggs, but its nice to have options!

you'll get the immunity regardless of taking tamiflu or not, since your body will have learned which antibodies to produce in order to defeat the virus.

it reduces about a day. but the side affects are really not worth it.

the vaccine for it is simply a modified winter flu shot :)

Yay, medical experts. Clearly advice from forums should be held in much higher regard than that of health professionals

wishy.. my understanding of most vaccine formulation is that nearly all of them are synthesised from eggs... but i thought they have one around thats more expensive but not made with eggs?

Don't think they're going to cook up a special batch for me, they can barely keep up with demand for normal people

Well if they used the waste from abortion clinics - like recycling - Steve and others would be fine.

ive just finished taking the tamiflu, and i can tell you guys, it made me feel worse than i was before i was put on it!

if anything it kept the flu going longer, i normally have a strong immune system, could have got rid of it in a matter of days, not 5 days :(

my advice, unless your seriouslly ill, dont take it

Why did you need tamiflu?

doctors took a swab and then prescribed it to me saying i had it, after i went into hospital with possible meningitus, last weekend, got the results of the swabs today, turns out that ive just taken the course of tablets, and that i had no sign of swine flu at all,

what a waste, and i would have prob felt better well before now if i didnt have to have had it
