Come on then, own up

Postby Jani » Sat Jun 06, 2009 3:56 pm

I came to this LAN with three pizzas, and when I went to cook one, there were only two left. They were all shoved at the top of the bottom shelf, not in a bag or anything (our group normally always use the bottom 2 shelves).

They are the Tesco deep crust cheese feast ones, the only ones I buy as they are the only ones I like. And someone has eaten one of them.

If the person responsible could own up and pay for a replacement pizza before tomorrow I would be happy (Tesco closes at 10pm tonight so before then would be good).

Thanks :)

Ps. I am in seat 16, in the corner by the steps at the back of the hall.

I seriously doubt anybody has intentionally eaten it, the fridge is very stuffed and it could well be in the bottom or somebody has just eaten the wrong one.

I know, but the fact is, they still have and I'm out of pocket because of it.

Surely people must know what they brought with them? There were no other deep crust cheese feats pizzas in the fridge so it seems a bit odd that someone just assumed it was theirs and took it.

I searched all of the ones in there when I was looking for mine, and there weren't any other of the ones I had. So someone must have taken it on purpose, as there weren't any others.

What is the purpose of this thread? If I were to say it was me, would you demand a refund for £2?

Of course it was not me and as others have suggested - people nick food at a lan, shit happens. The staff will not guard the fridge, punters are allowed to use it as a convienience.

Jani, if you're that bovverd, put ur name on it. Its not unheard of ppl buying the same kind of pizza bought from the same place!
