So....the ever-ageing question...

Postby Aphos » Mon Jun 30, 2008 3:17 am

What games are we gonna play this LAN? last time i came, it was all Counter Strike, HLDM, battlefield 2 and Ut2004! are we going to see any newer games, ie, team fortress, Ut3 or CoD4, running around a lot?

i mainly ask this, because, during my last appearance, i was completely unprepared when it came to getting into games, and ended up missing out due to installations!

last time the big games played were CSS, HL2:DM, Supcom, UT2004, Q3 and Sid Meiers Railroads (seriously, wtf), there was a brief COD4 game too but I don't think enough people know how awesome it is yet.

UT3 is bad, so noone plays it.

For me, UT3 does not have any atmosphere. It plays quite good, but atmosphere man!

Oh, and my computer won't run it.

Quake 3 and Age of Empires 2 ftw :)

Who owns Team 17 now? Worms on steam would be cool...

We should do a mass combat mission for Eve tho ;)

hmm, what's the net connection like at shinylan? We could organize a system/constellation takeover quite easily, it does mean us all training assault ships between now and August though...

*ahem* ANYWAY, back to the subject. i propose we organise a large Call of Duty 4 game. i know, i know, hard to do blahdeblahdeblah... but i can see large games getting pretty intense.

Raise hands for Call of Duty?

Also, can i hear more game suggestions pretty please?
