Games

Postby ShaneC » Tue Jun 03, 2008 12:17 am

Ok, just starting this thread so we can all get ready for the lan with installs and patches. So here are my suggestions

Flatout 2
TF2
Trackmania - now free on steam if you haven't seen it
UT3
UT2004
Sup Com
And ofc the best game ever, Savage - as last time we had all different versions running, I have uploaded a fully patched version + some packs - download it from www.shanes.org/savage/Savage-SFEPlus.zip - open zip, copy files to a folder and run silverback.exe - no installation required. Mike is it ok if I run the savage server on my PC again? Too many problems with yours and I've got a fully patched one with correct config ready for the lan.

More suggestions??

I will play all of those (prefur UT2004, no sup com), so all is good. Probably got to throw some CNC3 in there too, hopefully without the expansion pack.

Goldeneye should also be available on the projector too!

GRID anyone? There's some fun destruction derby there, and the open wheel cup is just plain awesome.

Oh ShaneC, many thanks for uploading that copy of savage.

Is Savage 2 any good? Looking at it now in the steam store...

I think a game schedule will work better at a smaller lan? no? As it'll be easier to round everyone up. Not a strict one - but 2 or 3 big games a per day or something.

Big or small, schedules don't work. We've tried so many times before.
