That is perhaps the most incoherent sentence I've heard you say this week.

I've been told stories about the practical jokes (other than the ones neon told me) and they are freakin' hilarious I whish I was there.
And I hope I am there to see more :D

Im not sure where to post this, but game patches.

I recon people should put it on the network (DC++ isn't it?) so other people can install them.

Im gonna get all my patches downloaded and installed ready for the LAN, but there might be a few games / updates that I have forgotten, or I might be introduced to a new game or something.

But I'm kinda guessing you do that anyways.

I know what youre thinking, "REEEERAAAAWWW n00b alert! REEEERAAAAWWW"

Those ("REERAWW") were sirens btw :) Like an airaid siren, but instead of the lufftwaffe, its a LAN party noob :)

Most patches are available through the lan intranet off the ftp :)

And I totally just paid for this lan by shoving money through Mark/Mike's/Dave's new house letterbox! Lucky Mancer didn't get it first

Game patches are found on the intranet the staff have set up. Beer02 [phil], Mike and myself will have patches for most games available on DC too.

Cool :)

I gats to ask, I know (or have some inkling) as to what DC++ is, its a file sharing thing, but what does one need to do to share / download stuff.

What client (if any - without wanting to sound noobish) should I get?
Where from?
What operating systems are they available for?
etc.

If this is in the FAQ or a sticky, then i apologise.

Download DC++ here: [Link Removed - neon]

Install, and add the files you want to share and let it hash the files...

At lan, connect up and type 'dchub' in address bar, and voila!

Sorry to remove your link iMess, but there have been a lot of virus infected copies of DC++ clients going around the net. Its only advisable to get the client from their website at http://dcpp.net and http://dcplusplus.sf.net
