I'm just saying it tends to be the overclocked machines that tend to have the issues at the LANs. If people fiddled less things might work a bit better ;)

They are a guide as a introduction to overclocking. 30Mhz is not really an overclock. I got a 20Mhz on my old DX some 7 years ago.

nope, but seeing as they're 2.2ghz stock (i think) i think he's referring to 3.15ghz as a barrier...

Its 2.4Ghz, the same as the E6600 but with two more cores.

Ouch, are you using a stock heatsink on that? I get 40-45 full load on my E6600 at 2.88 with a Zalman.

Had mine to 3.4Ghz for a while, but not needing it that high so im back down to 3.0 where I still have temps of around 33 degrees. Might overclock it some more at some point, but happy for now.

*Makes note not to try and fix T1M4's pc when it has mysterious software problems at the lan*

I wont be putting past 2.7GHz because of the heat it produces. So there should be no problem with it, 2.4 runs everything i have fine 2.7 just decreases the time for load.

T1M4 - what temps you getting at 2.7?
I'm running at 3.0 tonight (and with the radiator on which is about 2 inches from the air intake for the graphics card) I'm getting core temps of 31 - 33 according to core temp. and 32 according to NV monitor.
Thought the Antec 900 had great cooling?
