My friends netbook has decided to crash and they have a reboot disk. However they do not have a cd rom drive.

Does anyone have one I can borrow or maybe I can bring the netbook around to use it

Location: Torpoint, Cornwall.
Burn the image of the recovery disk onto a pc then mount it onto a bootable usb drive. Way easier.

http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/

Designed for Linux but works with any bootable iso.

If its a new-ish netbook, it will have a recovery disk on a partition on the netbook hdd surely?
