and somthing that i find hard to belive is that this thread is still slightly (only slightly) on topic, few flames, but how the hell did we manage 3 pages with it mostly on topic, hell, i agree with xcon, i dont think u would go round and hit them, the banning from the w
server will be enough.

xorn a suggestion, might be an idea if u stay outa this thread, dont reply to the flames

i think we should decided sensiblly what to do with people caught cheating, first thing is get VAC in place, and have hlsw tool installed so u can see the id of each person, if vac dont pick it up then u can still add it manually, and ban for the entire lan.

should we ban them from the servers permantly or just for the event it happens?

imo the options should be of the following

1. Ban them from future lans/the server the cheating occured on
2. Report to steam with VAC turned on
3. Snap their legs ^_^

1. not from future events, yes from servers

3. dont be stupid

....... yes quite, i would like to coin that word as a "web server"

anyways i think that cheating should be punished sensibly by asking them to leave the event early , or having VAC on, so that they loose thier steam account.

Firstly: Seriously guys, i think you're going over the top now. No-one's innocent of anything and i'm sure you've all done things that were wrong at the time but you found funny. Please don't go on at others when no-one is perfect themselves.

Secondly: HELL didn't even notice.

Thirdly: Report them to Valve and i'll report those with illegal software. Yeh, that's right, it's the exact same thing.

Fourthly: I don't support nor disreguard it, but ppl come here for a LAN, to have fun. Those involved have pretty much owned up and now they know not to do it again. If you guys felt so strongly about it, how come the staff weren't made aware sooner?

Some points to think about in this fucked up thread.
If online bullying has taught us anything. It's that people would sooner hang themselves than lose a bit of weight.

i noticed when i heard it being talked about

hell. as far as i know it happened after you left..

simply.. VAC will be enabled.. but i hope that some will have the maturity to not use hacks.. coz otherwise people will end up getting their names tarnished with false accusations... i.e opus, wildc4rd and anyone else whos good at FPS's

and i would hope NO violence happens at lans

there are 2 that i know that havent owned up yet, the only reason i havent said there names is coz i dont know their names!!

i belive the staff were made aware as soon as they had setup the bots, by the large crowd and loud talking

Yes, i know that, but did any of you get off ur arses and go and speak to either the staff directly or even as those involved to stop? No, you just sat their and complained like a n00b. It doesn't take much to ask them "Guys, stop using bots or we'll ask to staff to tell you." does it?

neomancer came over looked then went back down sat on his ass and kicked one of them, and the other two turned there hacks off when they saw ..... had been kicked.

iMess FTW.

Edit: oh yea, and it was just a laugh really. didn't mean to 'hurt' anyone like it seems to be doing.
