Exmouth is about a 10-15 mins round trip, depending on exactly where it is

i live near the centre of town, fairly accessible so it shouldn't be a problem - wishy would it be ok if i came an hour early? my dad can only really give me a lift out there for 6pm as they're leaving later that day to go to scotland

An hour is quite early, how able you drop your kit at 6pm and then go for a wander around budleigh, get some food, maybe have a drink.
