Saltlan 6: Can we bring desk fans?

Postby xconspirisist » Wed Jul 05, 2006 4:14 pm

Opposed to needing heating in the hall, I think that at this lan, we may well be crying out for needing all the windows open. Any chance we could bring our own desk fans as it is pretty hot in this recent weather.

You bring the fans, i'll bring no clothes. ;)

I have an air cooler if mods want me to bring it.... Assuming we don't need to PAY for the power we use? ;)

the air cooler is a realy bad idea, the size of the hall will make it a waste of time.

we have some big fans we will be using to draw air though the hall.

but i dont see a problm with ppl brining "SMALL" desk fans.

but if we ask you to turn them off its for a good reason so please do.

My mate web-enabled his missile launcher for you to play with and observe on his cam :)

On the cooling note, the hall does have extractor fans built into the roof, this will hopefully pull out all of the rising hot air, unfortunately we'll have to ask all smokers to stand away from the door while outside smoking, otherwise the fans will draw their smoke into the room from the open door.

I would bring my hurricane grade industrial fan, but it's part of my desk now so that won't happen

Yeah should do got in at 6am this morning, then had a few hours sleep started drinking again tonight.

so i've had bout... half a half litre of vodka and ... mmmm 14 Cans and 7 Bottles of beer in under 24 hours.

Right, what i was saying... you know the side door where we had to smoke last time...

is that where we're going to be smoking again? this LAN.

Because your locking the front door because of the 'chavs'..

Really that's quite hard to believe. Especially someone of your age and physique.

i would imagine the front doors will probably be locked if we get chavs trying to hit the power breakers again....
