Saltlan 6: Payments and Seating

Postby Wishy » Sun Jun 25, 2006 10:00 pm

Hi All,

The lan is rapidly approaching. We are oversubscribed, so paying soon would be adviseable. Seating capacity will remain at 64 for this lan and the forseeable future at this hall.

On tuesday we're expecting to throw open the seating plan, providing you have paid for your seat by then you'll be able to pick the best of the seats.

We've also turned on the signup system for Saltlan 7. We find if we do it too early we get people signup a year in advance and forget all about it.

It would be advisable for people to start paying or there will be a possilbility of no space.
If online bullying has taught us anything. It's that people would sooner hang themselves than lose a bit of weight.

Another reminder on this (Really should sort out the mailing list, but its not that easy at the moment as I've just moved house and I'm netless)

Its around a week before the payment deadline (Wednesday, Midnight). If you haven't paid by then, the "at door" price of £20 applies. Anybody paying by cheque or bank transfer needs to make sure its been sent by Monday at the latest.

As there are more signups that seats, anybody intending to pay at the door needs to email us to let us know, so that we can keep an eye on seat numbers. - admin@westlan.co.uk is probably the best address for this, as I'm not answering my email very quickly at the moment and that address goes to most of the admins.

Today at midnight is the deadline to pay the £17 for the event.

After midnight, the online signups will be closed, and you will have to pay on the door where the price is £20.

Only people who pay today will have their place confirmed and booked. If your definitly coming to the event - please pay today!

Once you have paid you can then pick your seat at the event.

When 64 seats have been booked, the remaining people go on a waiting list to see if anybody drops out of the event. It is best to book now and have your seat guaranteed.

We've extended the deadline until midday tomorrow, but the seating system is likely to be turned off later tonight.

Please could you confirm if your paying at the door

Right, Advanced payment system and seating system are now offline. Seating is fixed, as we have to keep a paper copy for setup.

Anybody still planning to attend who has NOT paid or confirmed, please email admin@westlan.co.uk and let us know so we can make sure we have a seat for you. My mobile is 07752 800 789, give me a call if you don't email by tomorrow morning.
