Website outage

Postby Wishy » Mon Nov 02, 2015 5:20 pm

Hi All,

We've moving between hosting packages tomorrow. The sites (Website and Forums) will be suspended a little before 9am, and will likely be back up around lunchtime.

Work is complete, assuming you're seeing this :)

Has this change broken the number of signups and paid on the forum subtitles? It always shows as "(# signed up, # paid)" here.
Although admittedly I can only browse through a corporate network in an odd timezone at the moment, which might not be helping.

Update: Yeah, this doesn't look good.

It was coded this way to avoid CSRF restrictions. Directory structure is very different on the new hosting. It's on the "Too fix" list

As long as we are aware of it, that's fine :)

One additional problem which has been picked up. "Remember me" function is no-longer working, as PHP sessions were used to achieve this, and requests are now load balanced across servers.

Yeah yeah, I'll fettle some code together to fix this. But it's going to cost you. I demand payment terms in viscount chocolate creams, too.
