Re: Windows 10
I've just installed the latest build 10130 and I'm able to launch all of my games, however I bet Friday will be another story

Re: Windows 10
As far as games go, for the moment it's just another version of windows, with a few compatibility hiccups. The only hitch in my short time doing a proper dual boot I had was that DOW2 didn't launch.

Re: Windows 10
The latest phone build 10149 was released last week with the Microsoft Edge branding and the latest apps. I imagine that there will be another build released to bring it in line with the mobile OS

intresting.... just told my laptop to check for updates, and nothing came up :S
Re: Windows 10
Make sure you're on the fast upgrade ring. Otherwise you may have an upgrade bug that some others on neowin seem to have.

Re: Windows 10
My copy in the VM wasn't picking it up, I did a big disc clean up to get rid of the previous version and free up disc space (40GB disc image), reboot, and now I'm downloading the update.

Re: Windows 10
I wonder what their strategy is for normal WU updates versus full builds when the final version comes around.
I know there's separate branches, insider for fast and unstable but testing future main releases, the main release for normal users, LTS for slow and stable, but it would be interesting to know how often they (roughly) plan each branch to need a build upgrade and going through the process of an upgrade, versus a lower impact patch, also what's the timeframe that you have to do the build upgrade before they drop support for the earlier version.
