You will not get UHD 60fps over HDMI 1.4, you are correct you need 2.0.

Displayport isn't really a thing for TV, it lacks a lot of the crucial things HDMI does have, although the connector is very nice.

Ps. if you're going to buy a box of cable, get cat6 stuff to futureproof yourself. You can get a 305m box (that's a standard size) for around £40 these days, that works out to ~13p per metre.
